Kester Wax K-385 #352

Kester Wax K-385 is a solid, crystalline natural ester wax. The primary advantage of the K-385 is its excellent texturizing properties anhydrous systems, with some medium level oil gelling capabilities. It has a broad compatibility with lipid cosmetic ingredients and melts slightly above body temperature for stable melting textures. This solid ester wax can work as a texturizer, binder and secondary support in structuring of anhydrous cosmetics. Formulators can create subtle texture differences when using Kester Wax K-385 over butters and produce more stable products. K-385 will help support anhydrous skin, hair and cosmetic applications that need to pass 45°C stability.
